We recommend visiting between 9AM and 1PM on any of our four "Open House Hours" days each week.
You can visit on the weekend (our most popular days - best for meeting the most diverse range of members):
- Saturday: 9AM - 1PM
- Sunday: 9AM - 1PM
Or midweek (fewer members to assist you, but the best chances of getting the most 1-on-1 tutoring time):
- Wednesday: 9AM - 1PM
- Thursday: 9AM - 1PM
Tutoring is offered by Don Smeller, somewhat consistently according to the above schedule. However, the most members are around on the weekend, so that's the best time to tour if you can make it.
When you arrive at the building, knock on the door, someone should be there during those times. There is no doorbell or card reader yet.
Membership gives you 24/7 access, so members may be around at other times, but these are typically our most active times of the week (not all members are certified for tourgiving or onboarding). Outside of these hours, you are less likely to catch someone. Don't expect the door to be opened for you outside these hours, even if you ring the doorbell and someone is in the building -- not all members are certified to give tours or give public support.
If you are coming from out of town and need to schedule your tour in advance, call a member to make arrangements. Otherwise, tours are walk-in only - no appointment needed.
