Do you offer discounts or promotions? Does the price ever change?

Payments for membership are currently handled through our partner Squarespace, but we are not really an online "store".  The Squarespace portal may use terms such as "Discount Code", "Gift Code", "Product", and "Order", but you're actually paying dues for membership in a nonprofit community - there are no "products" or "discounts" here. 

That means there's no guarantee that your favorite tool will be available or working when you arrive, nor a way to pay less dues than other members, nor "refunds" for your "purchase". The only guaranteed benefit of membership is access to our community, access to our facility (after official onboarding), and shared access to a plethora of resources available in that facility on a best-effort basis. 

In accordance with the bylaws of our 501(c)3 nonprofit, all members are equal when it comes to dues and benefits. Anyone paying more for dues is making a donation, and anyone paying less for dues is the recipient of a grant.

That said, we do sometimes temporarily waive dues for an established member as a "grant". These are occasionally approved by the board for superstar volunteers in our community experiencing financial hardship.
